Olympia Sheet Metal, Inc. was established in April 1990 as a 5-person shop that first year. Led by Hans Rebitzer, a 25-year veteran in the sheet metal industry, the company grew steadily and within four years developed into a 30-person operation.

Olympia Sheet Metal, Inc. remains a premier family owned sheet metal contractor in Olympia. We are still operated by the Rebitzer family, with Helga Rebitzer continuing as president. Our specialties include hospital HVAC, commercial HVAC, industrial HVAC & sheet metal work, kitchen hood system, custom exterior flashing work, servicing of all types of equipment and custom sheet metal work.

The company’s longevity and continuing successes over the years in HVAC and custom metal contracting are a direct result of the company’s founding principles and standards for pursuing goals of quality & efficient work. Our commitment, diverse experience, qualified staff and reputation for reliable and quality work are valuable assets that have helped us to maintain long lasting partnerships with our customers.

 We have successfully completed numerous commercial and industrial HVAC and architectural metal contracting projects. We always finish the job safely, on schedule and within budget. Throughout Olympia and Western Washington, we have provided expert HVAC and custom metal fabrication and installation for various industries. Main industries include banks, office buildings government agencies municipalities, manufacturing, healthcare facilities, restaurants, hotels, and universities.

Community Affiliations

Company leadership currently holds memberships with the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce. We also actively support the YMCA and several local youth charities.

One of our most favorite affiliations is with the local Providence St Peter Foundation. Along with yearly donations, we also support their annual Christmas Forest fundraiser. Olympia Sheet Metal, Inc. decorates and provides a Christmas tree that is auctioned off for charity. We are dedicated to providing future support, and building a healthy, happy and successful local community.

Rigorous Safety Training

At Olympia Sheet Metal, Inc., safety is in the forefront of every project. Foremen, HVAC service technicians, and operations staff complete the OSHA 30-hour course. Other tradesmen, both journeyman and apprentice, complete the OSHA 10-hour course. Our employees are required to maintain their certifications for equipment used in precision sheet metal fabrication to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.


The rigorous safety training we provide our employees includes daily communication on safe work practices, weekly toolbox safety talks, and monthly company-wide meetings. All staff members are empowered to anticipate potential hazards and maintain a safe environment at the jobsite.

Quality Control Initiatives

Air quality and duct cleanliness standards are important to the HVAC, and sheet metal fabrication industry because much of our work involves the installation and maintenance of critical ductwork.

To prevent mold and airborne diseases from collecting in ductwork, Olympia Sheet Metal, Inc. has instituted effective quality control procedures for fabrication, storing, installing, and maintaining ductwork. We have a long, well established record of serving the healthcare and food industries where these ductwork procedures are a top priority in air quality cleanliness.
